I‘m Moritz Auer,
Brand Designer,
specialiced in concept development and campaigns.
I’m dedicated to designing and bringing brand identities to life in ways that captivate and connect. Crafting fresh ideas and innovative solutions for complex challenges is what I love most.
Before starting my own studio, I spent over four years at FC Bayern München, working across everything from bold marketing campaigns to a complete club rebrand. Today, I help companies of all sizes define who they are, build their strategy, and express it through design.
Outside of work, I’m a cycling enthusiast and a coffee lover—known for making a stellar cappuccino (though my latte art still has room to grow)!

This year, I decided to work independently and started Moritz Auer Studio — a small, interdisciplinary design studio built around the things I care about most: brand strategy, design, and photography.
I love creating something new with brands — shaping ideas, giving them a look and a voice, and then helping them grow over time.
Along the way, I’ve been lucky to collaborate with DAZN, Sports360, Suuapinga, Barbrain, SWR, DJE Kapital AG, Hormonic, and a few others who share the same energy.
At the end of the day, I just want to help brands move forward — with clarity, creativity, and a bit of personality.
As a Brand & Design Conceptionist, I embraced a more strategic and conceptual approach to my work, combining creative direction with a deep focus on brand strategy. My role evolved to include a broader range of responsibilities, balancing storytelling, strategic execution, and in-house consulting. Key aspects of my work included:

This combination of strategic and creative responsibilities allowed me to contribute significantly to the brand's evolution and its connection with key audiences.

Graphic Designer
Stiftung Digitale Bildung / Brainix
May 2020 → February 2021
The 'Stiftung Digitale Bildung' through its initiative "Brainix," aims to modernize textbooks for the 21st century. In collaboration with the Bulgarian company Nemetchek, an innovative testing software is currently in development to enhance the learning process for students.

Produced numerous illustrations as part of the „Brainix“ project, demonstrating a strong proficiency in graphic design.

Collaborated with the team at Stiftung Digitale Bildung to realize the organization‘s vision of introducing digital textbooks to schools in Germany.

Implemented design requirements while adhering to the Corporate Identity of Stiftung Digitale Bildung.

Contributed creative ideas and suggestions to enhance the visual representation of the organization.

Worked in collaboration with developers at the Sofia, Bulgaria location to ensure seamless integration of design elements.

Working Student Design
University of Applied Science Munich
January 2019 → April 2019
Collaborating with Elias Hintermayr, I had the pleasure of contributing to a booth presentation for Hochschule München during MAKE-Munich, led by Silke Langenberg and Xuyen Dam. The exhibition took place in early March at Zenith in the northern part of Munich, and we worked under tight deadlines to develop templates for posters and establish a cohesive visual identity for the booth. Operating under the theme "PLAY THINK MAKE," which marked the kickoff for the Munich Creative Business Week, we also created postcards for all visitors to the booth. The project was a collaborative effort involving numerous faculties of the University of Applied Sciences Munich

I studied at the Faculty of Design, focusing on brand identity and typography, and graduated with a final grade of 1.3.
During that time, I also contributed to DOC, the student magazine, co-designing one full issue. Those years shaped how I approach design — thoughtful, clear, and built to last, even through the quiet months of the pandemic.
