FC Bayern München: Team Bus

During my time as a Brand Designer at FC Bayern Munich, I redesigned the club’s team bus. The idea was simple: create a design that feels unmistakably Bayern, whether you see it on the streets of Munich, on the motorway or arriving at a stadium somewhere in Europe.

Custom typography became the core of the design, giving the bus a distinct character and a strong presence from a distance. I wanted it to be bold, clear and recognisable in motion, with a visual language that would hold up over time.

For the rollout, the design was also applied to an electric bus and featured in a presentation video. It travelled through Munich for two years, bringing the club’s identity into the city’s everyday life. In July 2024, the design received a few refinements while keeping the original concept intact.
