Anerkjendt x Meininghaus

A visual identity connecting salon culture and workwear

For the collaboration between Danish menswear brand Anerkjendt and Munich-based salon Meininghaus, I developed the creative concept and visual design for a shared denim workwear line. The concept brings Scandinavian everyday clothing together with the craft, character and culture of the salon.

At its centre is a badge conceived as the collaboration’s signature detail. I explored typographic and illustrative directions, created character illustrations and developed a series of short brand statements. Drawing on the tools and gestures of hairdressing, the artwork translates the craft into a distinctive graphic language.

Mockups across workwear, salon textiles and storefront windows demonstrate how the designs can extend from clothing into the salon and its communications. The resulting visual concept connects both brands and gives the collaboration a consistent identity across applications.
